Barrier Breakers Inc – Akron

Founded in February 2020 by LaQuata Williams; Barrier Breakers Inc. - Akron is a non-profit organization that seeks to assist women in the transition of reentry after incarceration. My goal is to bring together fearless women that have been impacted by incarceration that are now pursuing life boldly and breaking barriers through faith, pushing through setbacks and rising above. These women will be the catalyst to providing encouragement and support while being ambassadors of the community to women who will be facing the same challenges.

If you or someone you know is a Barrier Breaker, please consider joining in the quest to ensuring that incarcerated women are able to get access to the various opportunities and help they need to successfully reenter society and thrive upon release. Your experience, ideas, and expertise are a valuable asset to this initiative. Involvement with Barrier Breakers Inc. would also allow you to encourage women, create an impact in a very much needed area of the community and shed light on an often overlooked population.
